Community Service Guidelines
While fulfilling your community service hours, you are expected to conduct yourself in a manner consistent with The Salt Mine’s standards. The following mandatory policies and guidelines support this expectation.

-Arrive at the designated time you scheduled with your Community Service Coordinator. We allow a 15 minute grace period.
-If you arrive late or cancel more than twice, you will not be able to fulfill community service hours at our facility.
-Take breaks as directed by your Community Service Coordinator. You are required to take authorized breaks as you fulfill your community service hours.
-Unless otherwise instructed, work through the task list. Excessive loitering is not permitted, and you are expected to stay on task.
-Dress appropriately for indoor and outdoor work. Revealing clothing is not permitted.
-Inappropriate language and speech is not permitted.
-Children, family, or significant others are not permitted on the premises while you are fulfilling community service hours.
-If a customer asks for your assistance, politely inform them that you will find a volunteer or staff member to assist. All customer interactions must be polite, kind, and helpful.
-The Salt Mine has strict Child Safety Policies in place. You are not permitted to interact with volunteers who are minors; this will result in termination.
