Services
Fresh Food Boxes
Food Closet clients may request a Fresh Food Box every day we are open (Tuesday-Saturday). Fresh Food Boxes contain fresh produce, dairy, deli, bread, and pastry items. Contents vary every day based on availability.
Pantry Boxes
Food Closet clients may request a Pantry Box once a month. Pantry Boxes contain non-perishable food items and frozen meat. Pantry Boxes are only available on weekdays. Contents vary every day based on availability.
Homeless Services
Daypacks
Unhoused clients may request a Daypack every day we are open (Tuesday-Saturday). Daypacks contain food items that can be cooked without utensils and food that can be eaten on-the-go. Contents vary every day based on availability.
Laundry Services
Unhoused clients may request laundry services Tuesday-Friday. Our Homeless Clothing Exchange Program allows them to exchange old clothing or receive new clothing based on availability.
Shower Services
Unhoused clients may request shower services Tuesday-Friday. They can use our private shower and bathroom space, designated for unhoused clients, for a limited time each day.

Curbside Pickup
The Salt Mine Food Closet operates by curbside pickup. Simply drive up to the Food Closet on the 6th Street side, and we will safely assist you. If there is a line along 6th Street, please leave space for through traffic.
Identification Required
To receive food at The Food Closet, you must verify your address and identity. If you have other family members in your household, you must verify their identities for them to receive food. For more info, click here.
