850 Families!

The holidays are the busiest time of year at The Salt Mine. We've already helped 850 families for the holidays, and we still have the biggest holiday of the year right in front of us! Many families and seniors in our community are trying their best to make the holidays happen with a very limited budget. The holiday expenses seem impossible on top of rent, utilities, gas, and grocery bills. The Salt Mine is here to help—together, we can bring local families some extra joy for the holidays that they would otherwise not be able to afford.

We need your help to make this Christmas bright for everyone in our community. Along with The Salt Mine’s regular food distributions, we will be hosting our Christmas Turkey Distribution in just 2 weeks! Our goal is to provide food for everyone who requests help so they can enjoy a wonderful Christmas dinner with their family. We are also partnering with the Lincoln Lions Club to give Christmas toys to every child. What an amazing way to share Christmas cheer this holiday season!
