The Salt Mine is your local charity serving Lincoln and Sheridan for 40 years. Five days a week we are doing the vital work of securing, processing and distributing fresh food - if you have ever driven by during our operating hours, you have seen this for yourself. While it isn’t obvious to everyone, many are at their end, facing financial struggle they didn’t expect and cannot overcome alone. When our neighbors need help, The Salt Mine is there to support them with vital food resources, a caring community and a hope that today’s struggles won’t last forever.
